If You Haven’t Tried These Already, Here Are Some New Tricks To Avoid Waking Your Sleeping Baby!
While this is true for all parents, it can also be helpful for anyone who has ever been near a sleeping baby. You don’t want to wake up the little tot, but you also have things to do that don’t involve taking a cat nap on the couch all day. That laundry isn’t going to do itself, unfortunately. But there’s only one thing stopping your from just getting up and going about your day: a very sensitive baby! (At least, mine were!)
He might seem deep in dreamland for now, but as soon as you move to leave the room, he suddenly wakes up and wonders where you’re going. It’s amazing how acutely aware they can be of your location. It’s almost like a baby super power! Getting away from sleeping babies is a learned skill, and these parents have it down to a science.
Here’s how they tackle the “my baby is asleep but I really need to use the bathroom” problem, and I have to admit that some of these are pretty smart! I’ve only memorized where the floor squeaks after a lot of trial and error. I never thought to mark the spots on the carpet! Who cares what it looks like? If it means that I can finish folding the laundry without someone immediately un-folding it, I’m all for it…no matter how crazy it seems! How do you escape your sleeping baby?
