I’m Sorry, Did You Say Nutella?! This Is Something EVERYONE Will Love! YUM!

Making snacks for kids that they will A.) Want to eat and B.) Not hide under a napkin when you’re not looking can be stressful. One of them hates “green things” and two of them will not eat anything that has seeds in it, and all three of them will gang up on mom as soon as they catch a whiff of something healthy. Okay, well maybe your kids aren’t as picky as mine, but it’s still frustrating! That balance between “delicious” and “healthy” is so obscure that I will try anything to stop them from eating microwavable pizza every time I turn around.

This? This is a miracle. A big “thank you!” to whomever decided to do this to an innocent looking tortilla, and an even bigger “thank you!!!” to the makers of Nutella. Seriously.

First, this recipe is so simple that it won’t take more than a minute to prepare. Second, it’s the strange balance between delicious and healthy that all of the kids will want to eat. Have I stumbled upon the secret to happy and healthy kids? What is this madness.

If you don’t have this hazelnut spread on hand, this works just as well with peanut butter and a dash of sugar or honey! Plus, it’s portable. I started out slicing them up all nice and neat, but stopped once I realized that the kids preferred to hold the wraps and just eat it like they would a whole banana. Hey, that’s one less step for me, so I’ll take it!
