Say Hello To Clocky, The Superhero That We Didn’t Know We Wanted.
Interestingly, there is a large percentage of humans on Earth that don’t like to wake up in the morning. Hitting the snooze button 6 times before finally getting out of bed seems like a totally normal thing to do. Who needs to shower? Not me. Who needs to eat breakfast? Not me. Who needs to iron that dress? Not me. It’s a devastating cycle, but in those wee hours of the morning, getting out of bed just seems so very impossible.
For a while, putting a song on my phone as an alarm worked well. I liked the song, so I would listen to it and slowly wake up. Until I started to associate that song with sleeping, and it had the opposite affect. Luckily, someone has invented the invention that we didn’t know we even wanted to be invented.
Meet Clocky, the alarm clock that forces you to wake up and face your day like the adult that we all know you can be. (Okay, fine, so that I can wake up and be the adult that I am supposed to be…) It snoozes once, so you get anywhere from 1 minute to 9 minutes of snooze time before the marathon starts.
Seriously, it’s a marathon.
This clock will then speed off, bouncing off of the nightstand and under the bed, into the closet, or even down the hallway blaring an obnoxious noise that needs to be stopped as soon as possible. This means you have to actually get out of bed (the horror!) to turn it off. Suddenly, you’re out of bed and sleep seems more like a distant memory!
Thanks, Clocky, for being the hero that we really needed.
