The Fastest Way To Make A Watermelon Slushie, Ever.
It’s hot! The sun is beating down at temperatures that shouldn’t even exist! Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating just a little bit, but during the summer it is just nearly unbearable when the sun hits high noon. Seriously, I can’t even take the dog on a walk without sunscreen and little doggie boots to protect her delicate paws. And I love my friends and family, but when someone invites me to an outdoor party, I cringe on the inside before reluctantly offering to bring chips.
Until now. I always thought that making iced drinks that required a blender were too hard to make because they would just melt by the time I brought them outside, so the idea of a smoothie never even crossed my mind – all that time spent blending ice would be wasted as soon as the sun hit it. Goodbye margarita, hello warmish and melty slushie-type beverage.
This guy changed that forever. He takes a power drill, a coat hanger, and a cup and creates the coolest way to make slushies. After attaching a bent coat hanger to the end of a power drill, this guy makes his own blender. Watermelons are fairly easy to crush, so if you have an average sized watermelon you should be done in under a minute.
You then just cut out a place to stick a “pour spout” and BAM! Delicious a delicious watermelon drink that will quench your thirst and stay cool! I might have two chilled watermelons…one for the kids, and one with a flavored liquor! A refreshing zing! that will make any outdoor party much more bearable.
