These Residents Are Leaving THESE Behind For Their Mail Carriers To Find. Would YOU Do This?!
When the weather heats up, for some of us, the temperatures can shoot up to over 100ºF at midday and last until the sun sets that night. It’s miserable, but most of us have central air conditioning or don’t have to be outside for more than a few minutes at a time. You might have a nice office job or work indoors, protecting you from the worst of the sweltering heat. Some people have jobs that put them directly into that awful weather, and we tend to forget about them once we’re back in our cozy climate-controlled rooms. The people in this town decided that they wouldn’t forget and have started doing something about it!
The local postal workers are a part of our everyday lives. We see them everyday, they deliver our packages, and they take our outgoing mail. It’s a nice daily service that is often overlooked! They don’t drive air conditioned mail cars, and they are directly in the sunlight for the majority of their day. These neighbors have started doing something amazing to make their mail carrier’s days a little bit brighter; they leave ice cold drinks out near the mail boxes! Beating the heat can be tough, especially when your job calls for you to be outside in the hot summer sun.
I love this idea, and I’m so glad these neighbors have come together to help out these friendly postal workers!
