These Young Chefs Stick Any And Every Food Into A Waffle Iron…The Results Are Mouth Watering! Yum!
So basically, they decided to clean out their freezer by throwing everything they had into their double-decker waffle iron…even someone’s packed lunch! Oops! This definitely makes me look at my waffle iron in a very different way. It’s basically a way to crisp things up without having to fry them in oil or stand over a non-stick pan and try to cook both sides of whatever it is you’re making. Some of the foods that looked the best were those little dumplings, the smashed ham and cheese sandwich, and the macaroni! I’m not sure that I would make a cake in a waffle iron, but it’s nice to know that if I ever ran out of time, I could bake an entire cake in less than 15 minutes, icing it as I cook each layer!
I don’t think the guys loved the cake because of how much sugar was in it, but they did enjoy creating a fabulous mess all over their counter! Too bad they now all have to clean this giant catastrophe before they start their shift for the dinner crowd! Poor guys…
The mess is one of the worst things about experimenting in the kitchen, but it’s really nice to watch someone else make the mess for once!
