This Construction Worker Saw A Teenage Girl Run Out Of A Moving Vehicle. He Impressed Us All When He Did THIS!
Kevin Huntington thought it would be just another day at work on the side of the road. He was probably thinking about what he might do once his shift was over, or maybe what he’d get to eat for dinner later that day. One thing that he wasn’t thinking about was being a hero and saving a teenage girl from a murderer.
It started out as a regular, ordinary day. Kevin was working on the side of a highway in Northern Virginia when he noticed a car speeding towards his work zone. He and his coworkers were a bit confused as a distraught teenage girl ran out of the car and towards them. “He’s going to kill me!” She told them. Kevin called 911 and told the girl to stay behind him.
The man from the speeding car did approach the men, but quickly left when he realized that he was outnumbered. The man was later accused of kidnapping, strangling, and sexually assaulting the girl and has since been arrested.
But the story isn’t about the terrible man who attacked a teenage girl. This story is about Kevin, a regular, ordinary guy who did what he thinks we all should have done. “Pick up the phone and help somebody. You never know whose life you may save.”
Even if it seems like it’s “not your business,” you should make it your business, especially if you think someone is being hurt.
