This Little Girl Nails Her Audition With “Girl On Fire” And The Judges Love Her!

When a child steps up on the stage, we never really know what to expect. We associate children with inexperience and after sitting through countless school plays and performances, we don’t raise the bar too high for them. The fact that they made it up onto the stage with their shoes tied and their shirt on the right way is in itself a miracle sometimes. No, Timmy, stop chewing on your collar. No, Timmy, you can’t ride the dog. No, Timmy, the bread goes on the outside of the sandwich. No, Timmy, please stop putting spaghetti noodles into the toilet bowl. Yes, Timmy, they do look like little worms, but the toilet bowl is not a toy.

When kids walk up onto the stage to audition in TV shows like¬†The Voice, I take them with a grain of salt. Are they going to be good? If they aren’t good, hey, it’s okay, you still have 10 years to perfect your talent and try again. If they are amazing, I appreciate the raw talent that they do have and look forward to seeing what they will do in the future.

I don’t like reading comments no these videos that say things like, “wow, they’re good for a kid.” No, they’re not good “for a kid,” they are better than a lot of us combined because they were born with an amazing talent and I’m glad that they are sharing it with the world. Respect!
